so glad you took the time to read about Tashwood Horse Rugs,
my name is Sharon and you could say, I am the backbone to this small business, well I am the only one that makes the rugs among other things....
situated in a small town (that nobody has heard of) in the bottom end of victoria, where, believe me it is the coldest and wettest place I have ever had the pleasure of living in.
made a choice one day, that fitting my 9 horses and ponies in rugs was killing the bank balance,,,,maybe I could make my own.
So I got a job sewing for horseland, bringing their rugs home and constructing them, then scored a job in the store, great place to work, lots and lots of information and experience on horses and ponies, I was in my element..........
After a while I decided to leave horseland and start my own small business,,,,,,so,,,,
During the past 10 years I have been to countless homes, measuring ponies and horses, making rugs to fit,

What a fantastic way to meet people, see sooo many different horses and ponies,
as you can imagine I have a lot of measurements, I have great standard patterns, and I am always open for ideas.
You guys know what you want for your horse or pony, I am here to help,,,

The name Tashwood it means a lot to me, Tash was my little dog who died on March the 8th 2005, at the splendid age of 19, still miss her. and wood is from Pepperwood, my old quarter horse, who I had to put down (cancer) on the 15 of June 2006, my first horse my mother gave me when I was 12,
